BENGALURU: The Government of India is set to take big step forward in order to transform the country into a digitally powered knowledge economy, in short—a ‘Digital India’. This is the ultimate motive of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship program which is scheduled to be launched this evening.

The weeklong event is a power-packed one that comes with at least one major e-governance project presented each and every day of the event. The grandeur of Digital India is said to resemble the biennial Vibrant Gujarat Summit, after all it is Modi’s initiative! The spectacular event is expected to draw  2lakh crore investments.


This brand new innovation will do away with our hassles with physical documents like PAN card, degree certificates and mark sheets, passports and other important documents with Digital Locker facility. The other schemes under the project are worth over  1lakh crore include e-education, e-health, e-sign, national scholarship portal, BharatNet in 11 states and Next Generation Network (NGN).
